[h=2] Weather Information[/h]The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for areas south of I-10 in Houston until 7:30pm.
Rainfall in the area has already reached levels of 1-3 inches, and an additional 1-2 inches that will fall very fast. Flash flooding is already occurring with this storm system.
[h=2]Actions to Take[/h]Residents should remain where they are and seek higher ground if they are in low-lying areas or near creeks, bayous or streams.
Driving in these conditions is incredibly dangerous, please avoid all travel until the situation normalizes.
Houston Residents should avoid driving right now, as torrential rainfall is causing street flooding all across the City. Remember, Turn Around, Don't Drown.
Also, make sure your mobile phones are on and able to receive Wireless Emergency Alert messages.
