What are you reading right now?

still busy with "eclipse"

Just finished Ralph Giordano: Die Bertinis.

Before that: Esmeralda Santiago: The Turkish Lover, part 3 of her memoir.
- Part 1: When I was Puerto Rican.
- Part 2: Almost a Woman.

All three books are highly recommendable and one should read them in sequence, starting with the first book. English is the original language and it is recommendable to read them in English (instead of the Spanish or German translation) because only the original English version can truly "picture" the language (English/Spanish) and cultural divide (Perto Rican/Hispanic vs. Anglo American).

just finished brave new world. next one: fahrenheit 451.

Skipping Christmas - John Grisham

I read this book about 3 years ago, but it came to my mind, when I saw the movie today on TV (Christmas with the Kranks) and I can highly recommend this book, its very very very funny. :totlach

Brought home my teacher's edition of Avancemos!, the book we're using in the classroom to teach Spanish, to read up on Monday's lesson that I'll have to teach. Should be fun considering I myself am learning right along with the students! :)

Rama II (Rendevouz mit Übermorgen) Arthur C. Clarke, boring boring boring
