Wow, unsere Hunde haben noch nicht den microchip aber jetzt sind wir am ueberlegen ob wir das auch machen sollen.
SYDNEY - Muffy the dog has been found alive and well, nine years after vanishing from her family's backyard in Australia.
Authorities have found the fluffy white mutt in another backyard about 1,200 miles away. She was identified by a microchip in her neck.
They say the owners of the Melbourne house where Muffy was discovered say they found her about a year ago wandering along a street. She's since been removed from that home as investigators look into a case of possible animal cruelty.
Except for an allergic reaction to fleas, Muffy appears to be fine. Authorities say she should be in good enough shape to fly back to Brisbane soon.
Meanwhile, no one's quite sure what Muffy has been doing all those years.
