Scheduling interview appointment on www.ustraveldocs.com

Hello everyone,



I'm having trouble scheduling the appointment for the K-1 visa interview in Frankfurt. I send in all the requested papers to Frankfurt, had the medical, and paid the visa fee.


Then I got the following email: Receipt number 620XXXXXXXXX has been activated and you can now schedule an appointment at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/de

So I went back on the ustraveldocs-Website but I don't understand how to schedule the appointment. I watched a couple youtube-videos and I saw a date / calendar on the main page after logging in but whenever I log in there is no date / calendar. What did I do wrong or what do I still need to do to schedule that appointment?

Sabrina, you are not on an official website. Not sure what it is but websites from the US government end like this : .gov

for example uscis.gov or travel.state.gov

Also, interviews (besides infopass appointments) are scheduled for you and not by you.

Maybe have a closer look at the email that you got and make sure it is not scam.

Anja, that URL is not scam- it's the official website used by the US embassy and consulates for visa matters.
